چکیده
Abstract To discover the utility of pedicled latissimus dorsi kiss flap for reconstruction chest wall defect after mastectomy. This study was a systemic analysis 12 female patients with breast tumors who were treated at Affiliated Hospital Guangdong Medical University from January 2018 to December 2019. Among them, three had malignant lobular tumors, and nine locally advanced cancer. After extensive resection primary tumor, skin, soft tissue, large left in each patient. Based on design structure flap, two semicircular flaps equal diameter designed region, their blood supply retained same vascular trunk. Two transferred through subcutaneous tunnel, incision donor area sutured directly. Finally, semicircle adjusted fit then fixed wall. Referred increased cover larger defect. We have used this reconstruct defects twelve patients. Their age ranged 24 62. The largest 20 × cm, smallest 15 10 cm diameter. Postoperative follow-up time 5–9 months (mean time: 6.2 months): Follow-up observations demonstrated that all healed well without edema or extravasation cases closed well. In addition, no local recurrence distant metastasis observed

Breast reconstruction using a latissimus dorsi flap after mastectomy.
INTRODUCTION The latissimus dorsi (LD) myocutaneous flap has long been regarded as the second choice flap for autologous breast reconstruction following a mastectomy in our department. Despite uncertainty about donor-site morbidity, it is regarded as a relatively safe procedure; moreover, in contrast to our first choice, the deep inferior epigastric perforator flap, no microsurgical expertise i...
متن کاملPedicled unipolar latissimus dorsi flap for reconstruction of finger extensor *
We describe the use of a pedicled unipolar latissimus dorsi flap to restore finger extension. The patient had large defects in the radial nerve and extensor musculature. A long-tailed, 50-cm-long flap was prepared, which enabled the end of the flap to be sutured to the extensor digitorum.

متن کاملThe “Reverse” Latissimus Dorsi Flap for Large Lower Lumbar Defect
The latissimus dorsi (LD) flap is one of the most common flaps used in plastic surgery based on its dominant thoracodorsal pedicle as well as free tissue transfer. The "distally based" or "reverse" fashion design has been used to repair myelomeningoceles, congenital diaphragmatic agenesis, or thoracolumbar defects. We present a case of a large lumbar defect after cancer resection covered by a c...
متن کاملImmediate breast reconstruction with expander assisted latissimus dorsi flap after skin sparing mastectomy.
BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE The latissimus dorsi myocutaneous flap (LDMF) used to be the standard practice for breast reconstruction; however, with the increased use of tissue expanders and the development of the transverse rectus-abdominis myocutaneous flap for autologous tissue breast reconstruction, its use has decreased. To reassess the role of the LDMF in breast reconstruction, a prospective st...
